2. Check whether the surface of the edge banding strip is smooth and flat, and whether there are any miscellaneous spots. If there are specks or fine hairs, it may be made of recycled debris PVC.

3. Check whether the back of the edge banding strip is flat. You can use a flat blade to clamp the edge banding horizontally to see if it is in a straight line, if not, there will be thick glue lines on both sides of the edge banding. If the back of the edge banding strip is flat, a very thick glue line still appears after the edge banding.

4. Check whether the saw surface of the plate is flat. If the specifications of the upper and lower saw blades are different when sawing the board, there are small steps on the saw surface when sawing the board, which affects the edge banding.

5. Check whether the hot melt glue is too thick.

6. Check whether the thickness and pressure adjusted by the edge banding machine are coordinated.

7. Use a small section of edge banding strip edge banding, and then tear it vigorously to check whether the adhesive strength of the edge banding strip and the hot melt is reasonable and uniform. If the strength is not enough, it is necessary to check whether the hot melt temperature of the edge banding machine meets the use standard.

8. Whether the side of the plate is uniform after trimming, if it is jagged, it may be due to the following reasons: the trimming knife is too dull, the edge banding strip is too hard, and the edge banding strip contains too much calcium carbonate.

9. Scratch the edge banding strip with nails or other tools, if it is damaged, the surface wear resistance and hardness of the edge banding strip do not meet the standard, which proves that the quality of the edge banding strip is unqualified.
